Butterfly Kisses Pearl Necklace
This necklace features a large, completely hand-cut yellow brass butterfly. After I cut out the design using a tiny jeweler's saw, I sanded, filed, and polished it to a warm shine.
The butterfly hangs from wire-wrapped large, 10 mm freshwater rice pearls and has a handmade, hammered hook-and-eye clasp and an extender chain with three dangles.
The butterfly measures 1 5/8 inches high by 2 3/8 inches wide. The chain measures 17 inches in length with a 2-inch extender.
The butterfly is made of solid brass. All other metal is 14 karat gold filled.
